About Yurij Castelfranchi
Associate professor of Sociology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Coordinator of InCiTe Research Group (Innovation, Citizenship, Technoscience) and of the Post-graduate degree course in Public Communication of Science – Amerek at the same University. He graduated in Quantum Physics at the University of Rome 1 (“La Sapienza”), completed its academic Master Degree in Science Communication at SISSA (International School for the Advanced Studies, Trieste, Italy), and earned his PhD, in Sociology, at Campinas State University (UNICAMP – Brazil).
