About Sylvia Affonso
Sylvia is a Biologist and dance teacher and has been working in research since 1998. For four years, she has dedicated herself to public engagement. By using art as a tool, she conveys scientific messages and improves – or creates – science capital in society, especially in vulnerable communities in São Paulo. She is the treasurer of RedeComCiência.
