Dr. Saquib Razak is an associate teaching professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar. He is also the associate area head in computer science and the directory of Hamad Bin Jassim Center for K-12 Computer Science Education. Dr. Razak has B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the State University of New York. Dr. Razak worked as a senior software engineering at Motorola Inc. before moving to academia about 16 years back. His research interests are in Computer Science education, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things, and Systems in general.
