About Ehsan Masood
Ehsan Masood is Nature’s Editor for Editorials and also has responsibility for news coverage of Africa and the Middle East. He is the author of a number of books and has made documentary programmes at the intersection of science, finance, history and policy for BBC Radio 4.
His latest book is GDP: The world’s most powerful formula and why It must now change (Icon, 2021). He has studied at the UK universities of Portsmouth and Birkbeck College London; and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He taught science and innovation policy at Imperial College for a decade until 2017.
