Dewi Safitri is a science journalist at CNN Indonesia. She has worked for several years with the BBC before being introduced to a weekly science program and was hooked ever since. The patch to science journalism grew clearer with a degree in Science Technology and Society from the University College London in 2015 – a seemingly far-fetched choice for an individual with godawful math history at school. Her current day job includes managing CNN Indonesia’s Standard and Practices, writing for a science column at cnnindonesia.com, and teaching undergraduates on science reporting.
